It's A Good Thing I Run & Sister B

Posted by Anonymous
I must first apologize before I begin this post. This will be long and there will be a lot of pictures.

It sure is a good thing I run, after all the dining out I have been doing this week!

I proved my priorities to myself Saturday morning by ensuring I got a run in before the weekend festivities begun.

New Lululemon skirt and Pro Compression socks!

After that was out of the way, I attempted to make myself presentable for being in public.

Okay, let the fun begin! It started Saturday night when Sister B decided to come for a visit.

I made some appetizers and drinks at home to start.

Tomato and Bocconcini Salad & Bruchetta Bread

Pink Panther Martinis

Sister M works at a fairly new restaurant in London called Dolcetto, so Sister B had a great idea to go there for dinner Saturday night while Sister M was working and she could be our server. I know, we are so thoughtful to think that she would want to serve us food and drinks all night while we have fun!

I have been wanting to try this place out for awhile now so it was a great time to go for it. From the time we were welcomed at the front door until the time we left, every minute was enjoyable. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable! Will def return to this place!

Sister B and Me-just in case you were wondering!

This is a bonus pic for you all! Sister C was not with us and was wanting to know how we were doing! Sister B responded to her with this photo and letting her know "there are no bats in this cave".

The Dining out continued Monday night with CRM and 2 of my sisters. We went to 168 Sushi! I must say, I didn't really know what to expect from an all you can eat Sushi Restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised and will also return to this place.

It's all you can eat but you don't have to get up to go to a buffet or anything, sacrificing precious chat time with your dining mates. There is an iPad at your table and you just go through and select what you would like and within seconds the food, or drinks, arrive at your table. The portions of each thing that we ordered was perfect for sharing. We got to try A LOT of different items without being too full. The drink prices were very resonable allowing us to enjoy som bevvys as well.

The next dining out adventure was last night. It was with CRM, her SIL and MIL. We went to Fellini Koolinis.

They had a great deal on their menu. There were 2 different columns to choose from. One column was an app and meal for $20 and the other column was an app and meal for $25. We all went for the app and meal for $20. We shared our apps and enjoyed our own meals.

Sharesy apps!

I will just take this opportunity to say, I am one lucky girl to have such wonderful people in my life! Thanks to each of you for being a part of my life and making me a part of yours!

Hi! I'm a new reader. Just want to ask about your compression socks. What kind do you have? Are they good? I'm currently looking for one.

    Thanks!

  3. Hi Ja, thanks for reading! The compression socks that CRR is wearing in this post are Pro Compression's Marathon Sock (in yellow, their May sock of the month). All 3 of us wear PC socks most of the time...Michelle and I both wear CEP socks as well. I find that the Pro Compression socks do a good job of 'keeping it tight' during your run and they really help in recovery after a run too. In fact, I will often take two pairs to work with me...one pair to run (and sweat!) in and a second pair to switch into afterwards for recovery. They feel great and help me feel great in turn. Plus PC socks come in plenty of colours so you'll always look good too :)
We always feature Pro Compression on our Deals page...they offer free shipping to the US and right now you can use coupon code GB4 to get 40% off...bringing the price of the Marathon socks down to $30, which is a great price for compression socks. What better way to try them out than with a deal?
WARNING! If you do try them, you will probably have a new addiction to socks :)
