Happy Easter Weekend

Posted by Anonymous

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a lovely Easter Weekend.

A big shout out of “Good lucks and All the Bests” to all running Boston today! Stay strong!

My weekend was great. Friday, I celebrated Easter with my family. We decided to do a brunch this time around and I think it went over really well.

My sister Beth and her hubby hosted.

We all brought different dishes and we ended up with a perfect assortment of food for our bellies!

Beth even did an Easter egg hunt for the kids. The big kids just got to pick what they wanted out of a bowl. That’s my kind of hunting.

And after about 12 hours of talking and laughing, we all left with plenty of food for our souls too.

Yesterday was a beautiful day here! I got out for a pretty decent 10 mile run. By decent, I don’t mean in time, because that wasn’t good, but it was decent in that my leg didn’t feel too bad.

That’s it. From here on, until Marathon day on May 4th, that will be my last longish run. I will do a few 5, 8 and 10’s and that’s it. I really hope my leg can stay together for 2 more weeks. After that, I think I really need to get it looked at.

Off to work now for me! Have a great day everyone.

Anyone running Boston? Can’t wait to read your recaps!

What was your favorite thing about your weekend?
