Words of Encouragement

Posted by CheapRunnerMichelle

Tomorrow morning bright and early we are heading to Finger Lakes (somewhere in New York State) for Mike's race this weekend. Lots of hours of training and preparation have gone into this weekend...I am really excited for Mike - and I know that he is totally going to rock it (and let's be honest...become addicted to this racing distance...lol). So in honour of his impending race this weekend I thought I would share some encouraging signs that have been seen along triathlon race courses. (and a few other funnies I thought I'd throw in)

Don't forget to take them out BEFORE you cross the finish line...

Why is it that we runners have such a hate for this word....

  1. Hhaha love this. Sponges saved my life during Musselman last year... like not even kidding. But yes...try and remember to take them out... I found a few on me still a few hours later HA! Can't wait to hang out and cheer this weekend!

    Have fun this weekend!
My favourite sign ever was at last year's Toronto Marathon:
"You're running a marathon??? Our mayor wants your crack!!!"
