First Friday

Posted by Anonymous

Good mooring all!  Happy first Friday of 2014!  I hope everyone is having a great week and is looking forward to the weekend!

So January 1st came and I new I wanted to start the year off right and get a run in that day and for as many days as I can for this entire year.

As you have read in some of our posts lately, we are heading off to Disney next week for the Disney Marathon Weekend.  I don't want to over do things before we go but I want to continue running as much as I can so I  have decided to run easy 5ks during the week and I will get in a couple 10ks this weekend.

January 1st, I took my run outside and it was not all that enjoyable.  The paths were very slippery and uneven but I got it done.

My sister's and I have a New Year's Day tradition (5th year in a row now) to meet for dinner.  We met at Red Lobster and I enjoyed a Shrimp Feast (and maybe a few more things on the side)!!  Don't judge

January 2nd brought us -16C/-3F weather so I decided to take my run in-doors.

I finished of my indoor workout with a little Boot Camp Countdown workout.  I don't even know where I found this but it was really good!  It took me just under 23 minutes to complete.

Last night's dinner was just what I needed after so many fancy meals lately.

Again I say, don't judge!!  I will get back to eating healthier next week when I am back to work.

There we have it, so far, 2 days into the year and I am 2 for 2 with my runs.

Today, I plan on on hitting the gym again as we are at a temp of -21C/-6F.  Brrrr, too cold for this gal to be outside!

Have a great day everyone!

What are your plans this weekend?

Anyone racing this weekend?

The Disney run- are you doing the Dopey Challenge?!! Lol, not going to lie, kind of jealous of your mac and cheese. Sometimes you just gotta have the box stuff.
