My Exciting Life

Posted by Anonymous

Good morning blog land! How is everyone this morning?

So, I go to write my post this morning and of course, I look through my phone first to see what I have been up to this week that everyone might want to hear about…..

Not much. Run, work, eat, sleep, repeat…oh and some sock shopping. So I will share that…

I was working later this week (except for one ridiculous morning) so I got my workout/runs in before work. This morning, I put down 12 km/7.5m.

We have been knee deep in rolling out a new initiative at work for the last couple of weeks and this week I was awarded a new toy. I bet none of you have one of these at work…

Yeah, that’s right, a light wand. I am so lucky!

With accepting that award it also meant that I had a very early morning.

And yes, that’s right, my wake up call was 3:30 am. Nice! I’ll take the bad for the good. Even if it makes me feel psycho!

My dinners have been the exact same all week long too. See, it really has been an exciting week.

Kale Salad with Shrimp on the side. I had already eaten the shrimp when I remembered to take a pic. #bloggerfail

A couple weekends ago, I went through my sock drawer and got rid of a lot of old socks that had holes and whatnot so I have been in need of some new ones. I took a trip to Ardene and found some scwheet bargains!

I looked at the 5/$10 racks and found 3 packs of socks (with 6 pairs in each pack), and 2 toques. That is 18 pairs of socks and 2 toques for $10 bucks!! And some of you say, we aren’t really all that cheap for 3cheaprunners.

Some of you asked for the recipes to my Quinoa Tabboleah and Sweet Potato Casserole, so here they are:

Quinoa Tabboleah

-1 cup of cooked Quinoa (converts to 4 cups cooked)

-3 tomatoes, diced

-2 bunches green onions, diced

-1 cup fresh parsley, chopped

-1/4 cup olive oil

-1/4 cup lemon juice

-2 tablespoons minced garlic

-1/2 teaspoon of salt

***mix it all together and let it chill for a couple hours

Voila!!

Sweet Potato Casserole

-Baked Sweet Potato

-Cooked Ground beef with some taco or fajita seasoning

-plain Greek yogurt

-grated cheese

***this is totally a thrown together recipe, nothing fancy

Do you prefer getting your run on before work, or after work??
I am still undecided …. Pros and cons to both

Plain socks or colourful socks??
Duh, the more obnoxious, the better!

  12. Did not thought about this until now :)Garcinia Cambogia Extract
suppresses the pancreatic from splitting down starch into
maltose and dextrin. It also stops the creation of alpha-amylase vitamins in the body system.
Health professionals sometimes encourage this to their patients
who are diabetic patients because the Garcinia Cambogia stops the growth of alpha-glucosidase positioned
in the digestive system from remodeling disaccharides
and starches into glucose. Garcinia Cambogia benefits also
prevents sugars and carbohydrates from turning into harmful excess fat by preventing the
generation of citrate lyase. Some health professionals
use Garcinia as a laxative to help with congestion or other health purposes
such as fat loss, stress relief, depressive disorders,
mood swings and as a solution to getting a superior night nap.

  13. Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect
against hackers? I'm kinda paranoid about losing everything I've worked hard
    on. Any suggestions?
