Friday Fav's

It's Friday and I have enough pictures on my phone to put together a Friday Fav's post, so here goes…

1) Chipotle

Love this stuff…had it for lunch twice in Chicago.  We are starting to see some open up here in Canada in major centres like Toronto, so hopefully it won't be too long until there's one nearby!

2) Tigers Playoffs

Ya my Tigers got thumped last night but today's a new day…dropping the opening game isn't the best way to start a best of 5 series, but since I have tickets for game 4 in Detroit, I knew the Tigers would need to lose a game (and the Orioles need to lose a game too!) for game 4 to even be necessary.

3) New Running Gear

New running gear always makes running more fun!  I picked up a cool new Nike singlet in Chicago that is super lightweight (and I love the yellow colour scheme), and then when I checked the mailbox the other day I had some funky new Pro Compression socks waiting for me too!

4) Coolest Trailer Ever

Seems the local Starbucks is going through a reno, so they plunked this awesome trailer in their drive-thru…best part is that they don't stock short lids, so Jackson's kid's hot chocolate gets a free upgrade to a tall…score!

5) Great Runs

I've had a couple of great runs to kick off October and I'm hoping to pick it up where I left off in September.  September was my highest mileage month this year, and the most since last September when I was wrapping up my marathon training.  It was also my fastest month EVER as my average pace for the month was 4:17/km (6:51/mile), with my slowest run at a still speedy 4:29 (7:10/mile).  The legs are feeling really good lately, that's for sure…so good in fact, that I may even be thinking about signing up for a January marathon.  We shall see…

6) Post Run Fuel

My go-to after a good run…berries, yogurt and granola.  I am in love with this meal!  I actually find myself looking forward to eating this during my runs…I think I'm addicted
