Crappy Things Happen in 3's, Right?

Posted by CheapRunnerMichelle

So today's just going to be a quick pop in to fill you in on my super crappy day yesterday.
It started off like this…

Thankfully everyone is ok, and we all walked away with no serious injuries (I was in my truck by myself on the way to work).
Then when I stopped in at work on my way to the police reporting centre I found a letter on my desk.

...awesome since I am already short staffed...and bridal show season starts this weekend.
Then as I started sifting through my emails...it turns out our flights that we booked on Saturday for our Disney Tower of Terror 10-miler...we were double booked...and double charged.

...and then the cherry on top...tomorrow I am home with Jackson...since he doesn't start school until Friday...and so for the last 2 weeks we have been planning on going to the YMCA - I'd go to a workout class while he went to his "class" and then we'd go swimming together...so at 5:30pm...I got an email from our YMCA location letting us members know that effective immediately the pool is closed for maintenance until next week once swimming lessons commence...awesome...I had to come home and disappoint a 4 year old.

For those of you keeping track...that's 4 crappy circumstances all within 9 hours of each other...I think I've had my fill for a while....
But I'll leave you with this (since I don't tend to be a very pessimistic person)

What's the last crappy thing that's happened to you?

Any good news to share today?

  1. I hope that today is a 100x better day for you!!! I'm really glad that no one was hurt in your wreck - what a pain, though!! And the rest of the stuff totally sucks!! You're right - you should be good for awhile now!!

wow that is one crappy day! luckily, isnt there some sort of cosmic agreement with the universe that one crappy day means you're going to have a GREAT day in the near future? I think thats how it goes :)

Ugh, what a horrible day! Well, since you asked, the last crappy thing that happened to me was one of my daycare babies (she's 2) fell and hit her head on my brick fireplace! Her mom came and picked her up and she had to have stitches!! She's gonna be just fine, but I feel so bad and like I'm a very crappy babysitter for letting that happen. :(
Hopefully tomorrow will be better for both of us!

  13. Holy smokes you have not had a good day at all. But the good thing about all of this is everyone's fine and healthy. I always tell Mike if you don't have your family & health, you don't have anything. :)
