As some of you may or may not know - it was Mike's bday this last Sunday...so in honour of it, I thought that I would share with you 35 things you may not know about him...ok let's be honest here...35 is a lot to come up with so I'm going to do 3 + 5 for a total of 8. Alright here we go...

1. He is the oldest child of the family...he has 1 brother and 1 sister

2. Completely on his own with no laid out plan or anything he has lost 60+ lbs over the last 4 years
3. He was actually the one that decided and brought up the subject that it was time to start a family

4. Anything he decides to "try" he excels at. A few years ago I bought him a guitar for his bday...and over that winter he completely self taught himself how to play
5. ...so we were super young when we got engaged/married...and man oh man does this boy have some self control...he actually had my engagement ring 4 or 5 months before he gave it to me
6. He is a loyal employee. He has been at the same company for just over 14 years now

7. Pizza...specifically his own home-made pizza is his favourite food.ever
8. Although he is a very approachable guy (strangers talk to him wherever we go) he is actually quite an introverted person. He would rather be on his own at home reading or hanging out with the kids and I - then being out and about
There you have it 8 things that you never knew you wanted to know about Mike ;)
